China National Machinery Corporation signed the import contract of refrigeration unit for CCTV new site project.
On April 6th, 2006, China National Machinery Corporation, CCTV and York International (North Asia) Co., Ltd. signed an import contract for ten refrigeration units in the new CCTV site construction project in Beijing Kerry Center Hotel, with a total amount of 5.81 million US dollars. Kok Chung Hou, vice president of China National Machinery Corporation, attended the signing ceremony, signed the contract on behalf of the company and delivered a speech. The new CCTV site project has a novel and unique appearance, great visual impact and large investment. After completion, it will become one of the landmark buildings in Beijing, and some buildings will serve the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and its construction has attracted wide attention. The signing of this contract is the first international competitive bidding since the construction project of CCTV's new site began, and it is also the first import contract for the new site project. The bidding and purchasing division of China National Machinery Corporation started bidding and purchasing in November 2005, and completed the related work well. The bidding and purchasing division also undertook the bidding for the electromechanical supply and installation project of the A and B sections of the project, and completed the bidding amount of 778 million yuan.
